Hind / Calves Hunting
Scotsport offers challenging hinds hunting in Scotland on various estates in the Northeast Scotland covering more than 120,000 hectares of woodland and open hill.
Hind hunting i Scotland can be arranged on a daily basis or as a package to include 3 days hind stalking either on a 2:1 or 1:1 basis, with an average expectation of 1-2 hinds/calves per hunter/day, depending on the time of year and the weather conditions. Most hind stalking is let from October to December.
Our hind stalking programme can also be combined with rough or walked up game shooting on various estates in Angus and Aberdeenshire with an expectation of 8-10 head per gun/day (pheasants, partridges, snipe, hares, woodcock, duck, rabbits, pigeons etc.)
Combined hind stalking and rough shooting packages can be arranged specifically according to each individual party’s requirement.
Hinds Stalking: 21 October to 15 February
Combined Hind Stalking & Rough Shooting: from 21 October until 31 January
Hind Stalking: 1–6 hunters per party
Rough Shooting: 4-6 hunter per party
