This roe buck was shot on June 4th on an afternoon/evening outing on Royal deeside estates. Stalker Klaus Olofsen was familiar with this massive buck but never imagined it would be this unique. We have shot some really nice trophies this season where 20% of roe bucks taken so far have been rated as medal class trophies. However, the outcome of that particular afternoon outing was a trophy in a league of its own. The pre-evaluation of this trophy has estimated it to gain a massive 213.6 points (CIC). In such case it may possibly place it as a CIC registered record in both Scotland and in the UK.
The lucky "owner" of the trophy Mr Ib M. Møller is obviously over the moon with this achievement and can't believe his luck. "It's once in a lucky persons lifetime and it happened to me" he said and humbly smiled.
We at Scotsport wishes Mr Møller congratulations with this vintage trophy and we are delighted that our highly selective management policy is paying off although a trophy of such calibre is not something to expect.
